Submitting

Submissions are accepted with the understanding that they will be subjected to blinded peer-review and editorial revision and that they neither have been nor will be published elsewhere. All manuscripts should be submitted electronically by e-mail as an attachment in Word format and sent to the Editor using submissions email address: submissions@tanzaniannurses.co.uk. Manuscripts that exceed the word limit will be returned to the author without being pocessed. All enquiries should be sent to the Editor by email: editor@tanzaniannurses.co.uk.

The review procedures

Submissions are reviewed by two individuals identified by the editor. Manuscripts are judged on the basis of originality, scholarship, clarity and the degree to which the paper contributes to the body of knowledge. The blind reviewers' notes and editorial comments are usually provided to the author when revision is requested. The editor retains the final authority to accept or reject manuscripts and will not enter into correspondence concerning the merits of the article after a decision to reject it has been made.
